I fought the BLOG.....

and the BLOG won!!! So for all you fellow bloggers, family, and friends.... here it goes... my best blogging efforts! I am not quite sure where to begin, but in the interest of not scaring anyone off with my first few posts, I will start off on a light note!

I chose my Adoption and Home Study agency in late August of 2007. I had no idea how much my life would change prior to even completing an adoption. All I can do is thank my family, friends, and some special "Hope Group" members for keeping me sane and hopeful that one day my turn will come : - )

In late March, I received my third referral (long story)....for a darling little 6 month old little girl named Hermela. I am still awaiting a court date and hoping to travel this summer to go get her! Unfortunately, I am unable to post her picture until I pass court...Which BTW brings me to the pictures above.. I can't figure out how to delete?? I am keeping them both so I don't have to start over!! (Help Julia)!! So the pictures are from last October when I had the opportunity to visit Africa!
