This is Hermela's birthday!!! I was still in Africa at that time enjoying myself at my friends beautiful lodge called Fevertree. I have to say this has got to be one of my favorite places in the world. Ironically, I realized that I spent that particular day in my favorite spot, the veranda. This photo captures October 18, 2007... a beautiful African sunset.

I agree with Julia, she is so adorable, we will all be rejoicing with you the day she passes court and you can introduce her to the world, it won't be long now!!
